There is no way I have found for the end user to modify GPU acceleration in OnOne as there is in Adobe products. ON1 Photo RAW 2018 is available for download as a free 30-day trial fr om the ON1 website. Without going into details I suspect that the brush tool uses GPU acceleration, could be wrong. The Effects module contains a plethora of color and black and white presets which can be customized once applied. Photo RAW incorporates a file Browser that lets users view, sort, and rate images in a package reminiscent of Adobe Bridge. On1 Photo RAW is all about ease of use, refinement, and versatility. I have actually gone back and reworked some images under Win10 because brush lag was so annoying in OnOne under OSX. 7 Choice: On1 Photo RAW 2022.5 Score: 6.9. The brush lag is much worse in OSX than in Win 10 on the same hardware. Also an overclocked Skylake i7 so a bit more CPU oomph than the iMac.
